Admissions Procedures & Policies

We appreciate your interest in All Saints Episcopal School!

All interested families are encouraged to schedule an appointment with Kathy Fisher, Director of Admissions, to tour the campus and discuss questions about the curriculum and programs offered. There is no cost to tour the school which generally takes about an hour.

All Saints Episcopal School is open to children of all races, creeds, denominations, nationalities, orientations, and perspectives. The school reserves the right to choose among applicants those who are most likely to benefit from the school curriculum and program of instruction.

About Admissions Testing

  • Students applying for PK3, PK4, or Kindergarten are invited to participate in a group assessment hosted by our Admissions Testing Team which includes the Director of Admissions, Assistant to Admissions, and the Primary School teachers specifically designated to assess potential candidates. Children engage in a play-school setting interacting in center-time activities facilitated by the teachers. Children will be assessed based on a range of developmentally appropriate academic and social exercises.
  • Students applying for 1st and 2nd Grade are assessed one-on-one with a teacher and are invited to participate in classroom activities with current students.
  • Students applying for 3rd-8th Grade are evaluated on adaptive computer assessment programs. These students will also complete and submit a writing sample during the allotted testing appointment. Students at this level are invited to “shadow” for a day and follow a current student through a typical All Saints schedule.
  • All children applying to the school should show promise of behaving in accord with the character and values of All Saints.

Acceptance Policy

  • For PK3, PK4, Kindergarten, and 1st grade applicants, we will accept those students whose scores indicate school readiness and an ability to process the amount of information at the advanced pace provided by our curriculum.
  • For 2nd - 8th grade applicants, we will accept those students whose scores fall within or above the range of scores of our currently enrolled students for that corresponding grade level.
  • If a student is qualified but no space is available within the grade level, the student will be placed in a waiting pool. If and when a space becomes available the most qualified student in the waiting pool will be invited to enroll.
  • Admission is based on the availability of space, and the qualifications of the applicant as determined by the Admissions Committee.
