FAQ and Camp Details

  • Q. Who is welcome at All Saints Summer Explorers?

    Everyone is welcome, including non-All Saints students
    Sessions will be grouped by future grade (example: if your child will be in 2nd grade in August, he/she may participate in 2nd-grade camps).   
    Should your child have an interest in a camp not in their age group, please contact the instructor to see if admission is possible.  
  • Q. How much does it cost for my child to attend Summer Explorers?

    The fee for each camp is $85.00. Money for all camps is due Friday, May 18, 2017. After that date, the fee will be $95.00. Half of the fee will be returned should you need to cancel seven (7) days prior to the camp.   Less than seven (7) days notice will cause forfeiture of the full fee.
  • Q. What are the times and dates for Summer Explorers?

  • Q. What are the details?

    The registration form is located on this web page. Please complete front and back and return with your fees to the office by May 18.  EACH CHILD NEEDS HIS/HER OWN FORM. Additional forms may be obtained in the office.
  • Q. How do I know which courses my child can take?

    Sessions will be grouped by future grade (example: if your child will be in 2nd grade in August, he/she may participate in 2nd-grade camps).  
  • Q. Can my child attend a camp for another age group?

    Should your child have an interest in a camp not in their age group, please contact the instructor to see if admission is possible.
  • Q. What should my child wear to Summer Explorers?

    All campers should dress in comfortable clothing and shoes. Most camps involve active participation.
  • Q. When should I drop off and pick up my child?

    Morning session drop-off will begin at 8:45 a.m. and pick-up promptly at 12:00 p.m.  
    Afternoon session drop-off will begin at 12:15 p.m. and pick-up promptly at 3:30 p.m. 
  • Q. Where should I drop off or pick up my child?

    Both drop-off and pick-up will be at Middle School (French Road).
  • Q. Are there any special instructions if my child is coming to both camps?

    Campers attending both sessions will need to either bring a lunch from home or pre-order a sack lunch from Trinity Café. Order forms will be available at the registration table or you can pre-order using your EZ school account. Lunches are $5 and include a sandwich of your choice, bag of chips, and fruit. Deli and hummus snack packs will also be available. Drinks will not be offered, so please send a water bottle with your child. Supervision will be provided. 
  • Q. Can my child volunteer for service hours?

    If your child is in need of service hours, we’d LOVE to have them as camp volunteers.   Please fill out the service hours form in the front office and you will be contacted. The instructors greatly appreciate the help. While we try to accommodate requests, we cannot guarantee the camp requested.

  • Comedy Capers

    Make them laugh! That’s what the focus of this camp will be for budding comedians. We’ll do some improv, learn jokes and watch family friendly comedy classics. Your kiddos cheeks will be sore from so much smiling and laughing!
  • Crack The Code

    Will your group escape in time? Kids must solve of math problems and clues to escape their captors or save a catastrophe from occurring From pirates to monsters or saving a zoo or circus, the kids are sure to be engaged with all the fun themes. This will only be open to incoming 4th and 5th graders due to content.
  • Drama Olympics

    Kiddos will compete in a variety of fun drama games designed to help even the most shy to break out of their shell. Skills will be discovered and confidence will emerge all while having a BLAST!
  • Eric Carle World

    Come along as we travel through the beautifully illustrated world of Eric Carle, prolific children’s author and illustrator. We will experience his works through read-aloud story time, crafts, and dramatic interpretation. Your child will love being in Eric Carle’s world!
  • Gaming Through The Ages

    This camp is for all gamers out there. If you are looking to get together with some buddies and play some video games, look no further! Bring your skills (and maybe an extra controller or two)
  • Harry Potter Wizardry Academy

    Magic will abound as your child receives an enchanted letter of acceptance and a robe in the sorting. There will be wand making, potion brewing, and magical treasure hunts plus many more wizardry activities!
  • Jan Brett Literary Corner

    Join us as we are introduced to animals and cultures from around the world, as we read, make crafts, and reenact the literary creations of Jan Brett. This is one of my most FAVORITE authors/illustrators. It will be an awesome journey!
  • JiJi

    Students will work through the JiJi Math program as well as create a penguin craft each day!
  • Just For Fun

    Imaginative stories, board games, and fun crafts await the campers this session along with some good, old-fashioned play time! Join us for these fun, yet well-organized activities!
  • Laugh Factory

    Comedy is the center of all these camp activities! We’ll perform comedy sketch routines, learn how to write a joke, and watch comedy movies until their sides are splitting with laughter. There will be a performance on the last day with these budding comedians.
  • Legos and Robotics

    This will be a fun week of lego building and learning about all things robotic! Come work with us to do some robotics, coding and solving challenges! FUN FUN FUN!
  • Legos, Legos, Legos

    This camp will be everything Lego! Lego challenges, making things with Legos, and so much more! If you love Legos, working with others and problem solving, this camp is for you!
  • Let's Go Camping

    Come along with us as we camp the week away! Camping stories and crafts, tent time, “fishing”, and going on a picnic and nature walk promise a fun adventure for all campers!
  • Lights, Camera, Action!

    Have you dreamed of being a star, producer, director, costume designer or set builder? Become one of all of these by joining a team of talented, budding stars to create your own short film. Watch out Oscars….here we come!
  • Makerspace Challenge

    Do you have what it takes to think outside of the box? Can you work together with a team to problem solve and conquer the challenges put before you? If so, then we need you! With team and individual challenges to create and take apart, fun and learning will combine to make this a camp not to miss!
  • Makerspace Jr.

    Calling all makers who love to imagine and create. From costumes to racetracks we will create our own original designs and have fun with friends seeing where our imagination takes us
  • Makerspace Minecraft Mania

    Do you love makerspace? Do you love Minecraft? Do you want to know more about these? You’ll build lots of cool things in 3D on the computer as well as by hand! It’ll be an amazing camp!
  • Math-O-Rama

    Students going into 3rd grade through 5th will enjoy playing math-themed card and board games while practicing math skills for these three grade levels.
  • Mochas and Masterpieces

    Calling all kids who LOVE Starbucks and crafts! Each day you will become a barista and make a different drink and then do a fun craft! Fun will be had by ALL!
  • Motor Skills

    Our little ones will have a great time in the COOL gym! We will have lots of fun with balls, stilts, balloons, obstacle course, hula hoops, jump ropes, skipping, parachute….and MUCH MORE!
  • Read It! Eat It! Sing About It!

    Enjoy children’s literature while participating in fun activities such as making a snack, a craft, and singing songs.
  • Robotics Ready

    This camp will be about learning the basics of Robotics and team building. It’ll be AWESOME!
  • Star Wars Jedi Academy

    May the FORCE be with you! Young Jedi will make lightsabers, practice saber skills and play all sorts of Jedi games to enhance “The Force” . We’ll conclude each session by watching a Star Wars movie.
  • Stranger Things Camp

    Walkie Talkies, science experiments and Dungeons and Dragons will all be a part of this camp. We’ll also watch some Stranger Things episodes to research into the “Upside Down!” Super fun for everyone!
  • Things That Go Bump

    This camp is for those of you who can’t wait until October for some thrills and chills. We will watch horror classics, both old and new; not for the faint at heart!
  • Tiny Tot Tech

    This is a fun camp for little learners to learn more about computer and Ipads as well as experience some creative makerspace things.
