What is the All Saints PARENT ASSOCIATION?
We exist solely to support the All Saints school community,
especially teachers and faculty.
Countless hours of volunteer time go into fundraising efforts (the Book Fair, Spirit Shoppe, and Carnival) which supply the school with curriculum-enhancing items not covered in the regular budget. Faculty members request specific materials through “Teacher Wish Lists,” and the Association seeks to fund 100 % of these wishes. The ASPA also generously donates funds to the school for updates to technology, facilities and curriculum.
Items provided by the Parent Association for Teacher Wish Lists for 2011-12 include:
*dictionary class sets for both 2nd grade classrooms
*Singapore math enrichment materials
*Spanish weather and telling time games
*Spelling and letter games for 1st grade
*DVD set of conceptual physical science “Alive” series for middle school science
…and much more!
So far this year, the Parent Association has funded $12,000 in teacher requests for classroom-enhancing materials, with more still to come. Year-round teacher appreciation activities are sponsored by the Association, and include:
*Faculty Fan Club
*Teacher hospitality lunches and end of year luncheon.
Other programs of the ASPA are: Gardening, School Supplies, Community Service, Grandparents and Special Friends Day, Art Show and school directory. Volunteers are needed to make all of these programs a success! Please join us today, volunteer your talents, and do your part to enhance the All Saints experience for all of our students.
