Merit Scholarships

Merit Scholarship Program
For Talented 3rd - 8th Grade Students

Program Description

New students entering the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades in the fall are eligible to make application for the Merit Scholarship Program at All Saints Episcopal School in Beaumont, Texas. A standardized test will be given to all students who make application. If an acceptable standardized test has been given within the past six (6) months, it may be reviewed in lieu of retesting. Cumulative records from previous school attendance will also be reviewed. The highest scoring students will be interviewed by a small committee, which will then select the Merit Scholars. Exemplary character and conduct are also factors in the selection. The school reserves the right not to grant the scholarships if applicants do not meet these qualifications. Students currently enrolled at All Saints, or who have been enrolled within the past two (2) years, are not eligible for the program.

Scholarship Details

Merit Scholars will receive $1,375 off their tuition at All Saints for the school year. For each year they remain at All Saints, they will receive $1,000 off their tuition as long as both grades and conduct are maintained at the level established by the program. The School will waive the one-time $125 application fee. Books, uniforms, and other supplies are not included in the scholarship. The School's normal re-enrollment fee of $250 must be paid after the first year. Additional need-based financial aid is available.

Application & Testing Information

Students must have completed the school's application and paid the non-refundable $15 testing fee before the test can be taken. Students who take the test but are not accepted as Merit Scholars may still apply for regular admission, and are subject to regular fees and tuition, minus the $15 testing fee.
