Field Trips
All Saints Episcopal School is committed to environmental and experiential education. Each year students will participate in several outdoor experiences, some of which may span several days for older students. The goal of these activities is to foster an appreciation and respect for our environment, as well as challenge individuals physically and mentally. These experiences provide a wonderful opportunity to explore and individuals responsibility to the group, to work on communication skills, to offer opportunities for leadership, and to instill in each individual a sense of self-reliance and confidence in his or her ability to handle challenge and adversity. All activities will be chaperoned by All Saints Episcopal School teachers and by experts in the field of outdoor education to further enhance our program. Please, no siblings when chaperoning field trips.
Field Trips are commonly scheduled during the year in every grade. The cost for field trips will be in addition to tuition. Parents/guardians are often invited to help with supervision. For each trip, permission slips authorizing All Saints Episcopal School to secure emergency medical treatment in the event a parent/guardian cannot be contacted, are sent home with students. These slips must be returned to the school in advance of each trip. Students without signed permission slips will remain at school.
There is a required uniform for all students for field trips. (It is the same dress for Holy Eucharist Days)
